Bwin’s athlete, Konstantinos Zikos, won the gold medal in the 60 meters of the Balkan Championship in Turkey!

The Greek flag was hoisted high at the Balkan Men – Women Championship held in Istanbul, Turkey. Konstantinos Zikos won the 60 – meter final with 6.66”, improving his time at qualifying round (6.70”).

The Greek champion touched his individual record (6.62” from last year’s Panhellenic Championship), and the Panhellenic record that belongs to Haris Papadias (6.50”, 1997).
The next goal for the sprinter from Trikala is the Panhellenic Indoor Track and Field Championship that will take place on 28-29/02 at “Peace and Friendship Stadium”.
