The 18-year-old windsurfing champion spoke about his dreams and goals for the future, as well as the key role bwin plays in his career evolution.
Kalpogiannakis started windsurfing when he was 7 years old. Although at that time he never thought that he could make it on a professional level, he fell in love with the sport. So much, that he decided to give up football, even though he was included in the preselection of the Greek National Team. He devoted his life to the sea.
The bwin champion gave an interview and spoke about the difficult period of quarantine, how his program had to change, as well as how he managed to overcome all difficulties and stay fit with the help of his trainers and his exercise physiologist. Now, he is rescheduling his program since most of the competitions were either canceled or postponed.
At the same time, the gold medalist at the 2018 Youth Games spoke about the future and the present, noting how important the contribution of bwin is to his career. Kalpogiannakis is in his final year of RSX Youth and Men category’s current form, before its equipment will be replaced by foiling for the 2024 Olympic Games.
