Their daily routine may have changed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but the bwinners of the “New Generation of Olympic Medalists” keep training with the same intensity.
Hard work always pays off and it doesn’t’ stop, no matter the obstacles for bwin athletes. Lowering the bar isn’t an option, despite the difficult conditions. These athletes hold the future of Greek sports in their hands and bwin continue to embrace their efforts and support their dreams in the best possible way.
Bwin actively contributes to Greek sports by supporting clubs, European competitions, sporting events and individual athletes. The program “bwinners: We support the New Generation of Olympic Medalists” consist of 10 athletes, who stayed home, as everyone was obliged to do, during the time of the quarantine. They managed, though, to retain their training schedule at the same level. Still, they made sure to send their own special message about the quarantine period.
Byron Kokkalanis (sailing), Dora Gountoura (fencing), Katerina Dalaka (track and field), Eleni Kelaiditi (rhythmic gymnastics), Dimitris Papadimitriou (sailing), Konstantinos Mastrogiannis (karate), Odysseas Mouzenidis (shot put), Alexandros Kalpogiannakis (windsurfing) and Ioannis Sgouropoulos (table tennis) are still in a positive mood and remain optimistic.
In any way they can, they keep training with joy and patience, either in the living room or the balcony. “Stay home, be positive, be patient, bwin” is their message. So, we stay home, continue to train and keep our efforts high!
