Bwin’s team continue to spread love over the festive season. This Christmas its action was to collect food and essentials for people in need.
Bwin’s team is always looking for ways to actively participate in the multifaceted social responsibility initiatives that the international betting brand has been carrying out with consistency over the past years. This Christmas, bwin once more supports our fellow human beings in need and its people decided to help, inspired by the same vision.
So, bwin’s team collected long-lasting foods, hygiene and cleaning products, weighing over 1.5 tonnes! They were delivered to the Union “Together for Children” and will be distributed to children and families, who have been financially affected by the pandemic.
The Covid-19 crisis has last for many months now and has affected a lot of families, who based their income on part-time jobs or occupations that were directly affected by the pandemic, facing survival problems. Bwin’s employees reached out to theis Santa Claus’ costumes, put them on and presented themselves in front of our fellow beings in need to offer them essentials and make Christmas time a little bit better!
Bwin’s Christmas initiatives will continue for the whole of December.
Bwin’s initiatives, part of its corporate social responsibility program, are in alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN until 2030, thus contributing to a better and more sustainable future for all. This initiative is part of Goal No. 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
