Olympiacos BC and bwin, following their vision to actively support the National Health System and the vulnerable social groups affected by the pandemic, supported the work of the doctors and the medical stuff of Metaxa Cancer Hospital of Piraeus.
Through the “Mondays’ Games against COVID” program, a series of charitable friendly games, Olympiacos BC and bwin continue to make substantial contributions to the fight against Covid-19. On the 23rd of March, 10.000 masks were delivered to Metaxa Cancer Hospital of Piraeus, a commitment that was made during the game of Olympiacos against Ionikos.
The delivery was made by bwin’s CSR Manager, Konstantinos Efraimidis, and the donation was received by Charalampos Toumpekis, Chairman of the hospital. The latter expressed his gratitude for the donation and highlighted the importance of such actions like the “Mondays’ Games against COVID” program in this difficult time for everyone.
Bwin and Olympiacos BC committed to resume such initiatives as they share the same vision in terms of their social responsibility strategy, something that has been proven many times during their cooperation.
