Bwin and Olympiacos B.C. remain true to their effort of supporting vulnerable groups, that have been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. So, through the “bwin Monday Night Game Against Covid-19” program, they helped the “brave children” of ELEPAP, their parents and the Organization’s employees on Tuesday 18 May.
Through the “bwin Monday Night Game Against Covid-19” bwin and Olympiacos B.C. are constantly supporting the National Healthcare System, as well as Organizations, dealing with the consequences of the pandemic. This time they proudly donated 30.000 disposable face masks to ELEPAP. The oldest non-profit charity organization in Greece celebrated 84 years of operation this year and continuously offers therapeutic, counseling and educational programs to children who need help. Face masks are essential for the day to day work.
At the same time, Kostas Papanikolaou and Vasilis Charalampopoulos, who play for Olympiacos, went to ELEPAP’s facilities and played with the “brave children” in the Organization’s accessible playground. They showed real interest in learning about ELEPAP’s programs, like the recently implemented adoption project. Finally, they received paintings from the children, made especially for them, leaving them with strong emotions.
The face masks were delivered to Marianna Moschou (President of EPEPAP) by the players themselves, accompanied by Christos Bafes (Sporting Director of Olympiacos B.C.) and Ioanna Beriou (bwin’s Director of Corporate Communications).
Over the past years bwin has been actively supporting ELEPAP through various initiatives. Bwin joined forces with Olympiacos B.C. and together they committed to keep working to support the Organization with even more actions, as they share the same philosophy when it comes to social responsibility strategy and contributing to society.
The “bwin Monday Night Game Against Covid-19” program, a series of charity friendly games of Olympiacos B.C. will continue to the new season. Bwin and Olympiacos remain dedicated to helping those in need during this difficult period.
