Katerina Dalaka

began her engagement with sports from a young age since her parents were athletes. She received many awards in Tae Kwon Do, but track and field and particularly 400m hurdles won her heart.

Ayoung survivor

Her first participation in a National championship was in 2006 where she received fifth place in the 300-meter hurdles race. In 2007 she set a national girls record in the 300-meter hurdles race with a personal best of 45.02 during the National School Track and Field Games for Middle-High Schools in Greece and Cyprus, which was broken in 2013.

She has been an active National track and field member since 2008 )Girls, young girls, Young Women, Women), representing Greece in the Balkan and European Games with her best performance in the 400-meter hurdles in the European Group Championships in Lille, France when she took 8th place and in the 4×400 women’s relay at the 2016 European Athletics Championships was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

She has graduated from the School of Physical Education and Sports Science at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She lives in Athens and belongs to the Argolida Health Runners Club with Giorgos Karapanos as her coach.
